In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
2️⃣ Beat Eggs & Sugar:
In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar for 3-4 minutes until pale and fluffy.
3️⃣ Mix in Vanilla & Cream:
Stir in vanilla extract and heavy cream until smooth.
4️⃣ Fold in Dry Ingredients:
Gently fold in the flour mixture until just combined.
5️⃣ Incorporate Melted Butter:
Slowly mix in melted butter until fully incorporated. Do not overmix.
6️⃣ Chill the Batter:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (for the signature hump!).
7️⃣ Preheat & Prepare Pan:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease and flour a madeleine pan.
8️⃣ Fill & Bake:
Fill each mold ¾ full and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
9️⃣ Cool & Serve:
Let cool for 2 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
Dust with powdered sugar or dip in chocolate for extra indulgence.
