1 Blender For pureeing the strawberries
1 Large pitcher For mixing and storing
1 Citrus juicer To extract fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and halved
- 3/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed 4–5 lemons
- 1/2 3/4 cup sugar or honey adjust to taste
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice plus more for serving

Add strawberries and 1/4 cup water to a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless lemonade.
In a large pitcher, stir lemon juice and sugar together until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Add the strawberry puree to the pitcher and mix well.
Pour in the remaining cold water, then stir in the ice.
Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Serve over ice and garnish with fruit slices.
