Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
2️⃣ Stuff the Cookies:
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of dough and flatten it in your palm.
Place an Oreo in the center and cover with another piece of dough. Seal edges and roll into a ball.
Arrange cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 30 minutes.
3️⃣ Bake the Cookies:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers are slightly soft.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
✔️ For thicker cookies, chill dough overnight. ✔️ For a crispy Oreo center, freeze Oreos before stuffing. ✔️ Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
